Zapchast is a IRC flooding script. Itself it is not spyware, but if you found it on your computer and you haven't used it means that your computer security has been infringed, you have been hacked and used as a remote machine to flood somebodies target victim.

Zapchast is indeed a trojan flooder but I think i found a way to remove it quickly and easily.
1)turn off system restore
2)click start -> run
3)type in REGEDIT
4)find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/software/microsoft/windows/currentversion/runservices
5)there should be one entitled "windows service". It is an imposter.
6)it should list an .exe file name. REMEMBER THAT FILE NAME.
6)DO NOT DELETE IT. If you do, the trojan will recreate itself. Instead, sabotage it. Right-click and select "modify binary data"
7)delete it all and press ok.
8)exit regedit
9)find the filename that you hopefully remember in C:\windows\system32
10)sabotage this file as well by renaming it to .txt instead of .exe
11)create a new file called .exe
12)delete .txt
You are now rid of the zapchast trojan.
